Napier Super VP90
Developed, formulated and produced in England by Napier of London, VP90 is designed specifically for the needs of shooters. VP90 is a scientifically blended vapour phase inhibitor which releases a controlled monomolecular chemical. It is attracted to all metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous, and it will not adhere to wood, plastic or glass. VP90 does not contain any Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) or Nitrates, is a completely dry compound, with no odour, no oily film, and is biodegradable. It is safe to use on even the most delicate parts and will seek out exposed metal even in places that you cannot reach with the oil can, the unique dry delivery system can be safely used in cabinets and gun bags. Anywhere air can penetrate VP90 will protect. Which is why it is used in all of Napier gun care products. With its 18 year track record it is used and recommended by BSA, BASC, Royal Berkshire Shooting School, E J Churchill, Brattonsound, Suzuki, Promatic, Topmark, Theoben, Air Arms, Ith...
Corrosion often begins long before it becomes visible.
Napier Super VP90 provides long-lasting vapour phase corrosion protection for firearms stored in gun cabinets, safes, slips and gun cases. Rather than coating metal with oil, VP90 releases an invisible protective vapour that bonds to exposed metal surfaces, helping prevent rust and corrosion—even in areas that are difficult to reach. The vapour protects metal while leaving wood, leather, plastic and glass unaffected.
Unlike heaters or moisture-absorbing products, Super VP90 does not dry out wooden gun stocks, making it an excellent choice for long-term firearm storage. One sachet is designed to protect a typical gun cabinet for around twelve months under normal conditions.
Whether you're storing a favourite game gun through the close season or protecting a collection of sporting firearms all year round, Super VP90 offers simple, dependable protection with virtually no maintenance.
Part of our Workshop Collection, it's one of those products you fit once and quietly rely on every day.
