These are available in one colour only and three sizes.

The small 8mm 150cms and is really only any good for small terriers, puppies and small dogs up to 20kg. The thicker 10mm rope is shorter at 120cms and  is ideal for spaniels and dogs up to 30kg in weight. To accomodate larger dogs up to 50kg the 12mm is more comfortable round the neck, we use the 12mm when training Labradors, Pointers and Setters.

This is the only field slip lead we ever use whether we are training, working or just excercising our dogs. We have tried others and we have found these to be the best.

The reasons are:

The braided rope will not open when the dog twists like normal three or four ply rope leads do.

The loop for the hand is smaller than most

The lead is 120 cms long encouraging the dog to stay close.

The ring is larger than most other brands

Add to these benefits when training dogs that the finish is better quality using matching leather for the hand loop, the ring and the securing slip.
